Prof. Dr. Siti Munira Yasin is a Professor of Public Health Medicine at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), specializing in Occupational and Environmental Health. She holds an undergraduate medical degree from University of Ireland (Galway in 2001, an MPH and DrPH in Occupational Health and Safety (University of Malaya), an Advanced Certificate in Ergonomics (UCLA, 2019), and also a Professional Diploma in Occupational Medicine (RCPI, 2024).
She serves as an Occupational Health Consultant at Hospital Al-Sultan Abdullah and UiTM Private Specialist Centre, and leads the Workplace Health and Safety Solutions Hub (WHaSSH). Previously, she directed the Center for Occupational Safety, Health and Wellbeing (COSHaW) and spearheaded the UiTM Tobacco-Free Campus Initiative (2015–2019).
Her professional credentials include CHRA (DOSH), ISO 45001:2018, and OHD certifications, with additional training in noise risk assessment and workplace smoking cessation. She has led more than 60 workshops, secured multiple national research grants, published over 80 indexed journal articles, and contributed extensively to national guidelines, books, and capacity-building programs.
