Ts Dr. Steve Teoh Chee Hooi is a Senior Lecturer at Taylor’s University’s School of Computer Science and Hub Leader for the Digital Healthcare & Data Analytics unit of the DHMA Impact Lab. He holds a PhD in Engineering from UTAR and served as the Enterprise Director of the School of Computer Science. His work centres on AI, machine learning, deep learning, intelligent embedded/IoT systems, and healthcare applications; recent outputs include studies on anomaly detection, scene text recognition, and product recognition. Earlier, he gained industry experience linked to Supreme Medisafe Sdn. Bhd. and contributes actively to the IEEE communities especially the IEEE SMC Society Malaysia Chapter and IEEE conference committees.
