Edwin Goh serves as the President of the Hemophilia Society of Malaysia (HSM), where he leads with both professional dedication and personal conviction. Living with severe Hemophilia A himself, Edwin understands the daily realities faced by people with bleeding disorders and has dedicated much of his life to advocacy, awareness, and community support.
His journey with HSM began in 2004 as a committee member, and over the years he has taken on various leadership roles before being elected President in 2021. He was a recipient of the World Federation of Hemophilia (WFH) Youth Fellowship Award in 2006 and currently contributes at the regional level as part of the ASEAN Hemophilia Networks (AHN).
Edwin is deeply committed to advancing equitable access to comprehensive care for persons with bleeding disorders in Malaysia. Under his leadership, HSM continues to strengthen collaboration with healthcare providers, policymakers, and partners, while also empowering patients and families through education and support programs.
For Edwin, leading HSM is not just about organizational growth—it is about ensuring that no individual with a bleeding disorder feels left behind, and that together, the community thrives with dignity, resilience, and hope.
