Ellisha is a Clinical Psychologist and Managing Director of Thrive Well, a trauma-informed community mental health social enterprise. Formerly in corporate finance, she transitioned to psychology and led the development of the mental heath arm of SOLS 24/7 targeting low-income, neurodivergent, indigenous populations, domestic violence survivors, and refugees for 8 years.
As the co-founder of Thrive Well, Ellisha oversees the strategic direction including research, advocacy, consulting, community development, and clinical services including workplace wellbeing strategies to transform organisational culture and advocate for employee wellness.
As a clinical supervisor at local and international universities, she integrates trauma-informed approaches in training and curriculum development of emerging clinicians. Trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Adlerian Psychology, she specializes in child, adolescent, and adult mental health, focusing on trauma intervention and workplace wellness programs.
A strong advocate for her profession, Ellisha served as Honorary Treasurer of the Malaysian Society of Clinical Psychology from 2017 to 2019) and awarded the Eisenhower Fellow in 2020.
