Sofia Lovi Ramasamy is a Malaysian advocate and beauty queen who has transformed her journey with psoriatic arthritis and other physical challenges into a mission of empowerment and change. Diagnosed at 12, she endured severe health struggles and stigma but rose to become a powerful voice for patients.

Not a new face in the psoriatic community, her decade-long advocacy has brought real impact in awareness, patient support, and policy dialogue. Crowned the first Miss Amazing Malaysia in 2019, she continues to champion inclusivity and mentor others. As President of the Psoriasis Association of Malaysia, Sofia passionately fights for patients’ rights, equitable access to treatment, and proper medical consultation.

Recently appointed as a Board Member of the International Federation of Psoriasis Associations, she bridges local voices with global influence—driving awareness, policy change, and hope for patients worldwide.
