Dr. Siti Nurkamilla Ramdzan is a Family Medicine Specialist and Head of the Department of Primary Care Medicine at Universiti Malaya. Her clinical and research work focuses on respiratory health, particularly childhood asthma. She obtained her MBBS and completed specialist training in Family Medicine at Universiti Malaya, followed by a PhD in Global Health from the University of Edinburgh.
Passionate about education and research, Dr. Ramdzan is actively involved in both local and international organisation. She serves on the International Primary Care Research Group Leadership team, is the academic lead for the Asia-Pacific Academic Primary Care Group, chairs the Malaysian Primary Care Research Group, and is an associate editor of the Malaysian Family Physician journal. Beyond her asthma-related work, she has published extensively in primary care and is currently leading the implementation of Malaysia’s national school-based asthma guideline.
