WORKING EXPERIENCE:
Had served in the Ministry of Health for 32 years from 1983 till March 2016. Retired as a senior Public Health Officer with vast experience in Public Health and Primary Health Care.
Have been doing huge amount of work in health prevention and health promotion. Have given numerous health talks at community level and national level.
Have been active in numerous health campaigns and involved in promoting Healthy Life Style Campaigns in schools, work places and community. Also had a keen interest in adolescent health.
Was awarded the Excellence Award by the Ministry of Health 3 times during my service. That is in 2004, 2011 and 2013.Was also awarded KMN by the Yang di Pertuan Agung in 2015
Presently am a Part time lecturer at IMU.
Am also the Chairman of Diabetes Malaysia Cawangan Wilayah Persekutuan. Also held position of treasurer and Council members.
Since 2022 have been trying to create peer support group for diabetes basically try to empower members of the community about the burden of diabetes and prediabetes and changing life styles.
