Prof. Dr. Ahmad Izuanuddin Ismail is a distinguished academic and Consultant Respiratory Physician with a career spanning over two decades. His expertise lies in respiratory and internal medicine, with subspecialty training completed in 2012.
Currently, Prof. Izuan serves as a Professor of Medicine at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) and Deputy Clinical Director at Hospital Al Sultan Abdullah, UiTM. His leadership roles include past tenure as Medical Director at UiTM Private Specialist Centre and Deputy Dean of Clinical Services.
An avid researcher, Prof. Izuan has published extensively in areas such as tuberculosis, COPD, asthma, and sleep-disordered breathing. He has been the principal investigator for numerous international clinical trials and recipient of multiple research grants. His work has earned him recognition and awards, underscoring his contributions to advancing thoracic and respiratory medicine globally.
